Remine

REMINE HOUSE

Remine House is located in the South of Lebanon by the foothills of Mount Harmon. It has a farmhouse design concept, a Mediterranean eclectic design with a Tuscany spirit, and a fragmented village like plan that is located at an axis between an Olive grove and a pine forest. This pine forest is clustered around a private court from one side, and a swimming pool directly opposite forming a day living focal point. The rooms are oriented to the views of Mount Harmon and the surrounding villages. The house consists of large living room, family room, dining and kitchen, two separate master bedrooms, three visitors’ rooms, a driver’s apartment, a custodian apartment and two carports.  A lookout tower above the visitor’s area for night viewing and star watching.

The Houses Material is a combination of: “Eclatee” local limestone, Cedar Pergolas, zinc and red tile roof, cedar wood double glazed windows, with indigenous soft landscaping. This gives the house a familiar stature and friendly contextual setting.
